Updating of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Comprehensive Development Plan of the Municipality of San Miguel, Bulacan

The Municipality of San Miguel, Bulacan has collaborated with Palafox Associates for the updating of the municipality’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Comprehensive Development Plan. The updated plans are envisioned to help address the existing issues and concerns of the municipality’s constituents in relation to land use planning, infrastructure development, community facility requirements, housing needs, and other development activities for the next 10 years.

From September 21 to 24, the Palafox team, together with municipal staff, conducted a site visit to all 49 barangays of San Miguel. Aside from visiting the different Municipal Offices to gather and collate data, the team also presented the initial development framework to the Municipal Planning Development Officer, EnP. Pedro Sambas. Together with Engr. Kristy Malapuz and Municipal Engineering Officer head Engr. Ma. Cecilia dela Mines, EnP. Pedro Sambas discussed the other proposed road projects and potential growth development nodes within the municipality. The Palafox team also had a meeting with Municipal Tourism Officer Serafin Paguiligan wherein he discussed the proposed priority areas for tourism.

We at Palafox Associates are grateful for this opportunity to help the Municipality of San Miguel in producing plans that will incorporate the needs of the people and provide sustainable recommendations that will address the municipality’s challenges and capitalize on its strengths and opportunities.
