Palafox Associates was commissioned to create the master plan of the Eco-Tourism development located inside the MWSS compound in Balara, Quezon City. The project is envisioned to enliven Balara's past glory and become a haven of nature's beauty and serenity.

The proposed development offers a wide variety of activities, integrating places to live, work, play, shop, dine, worship, and learn within a unified landscape setting. Situated in the hilly tract of land covered with trees, the 69-hectare Eco-Tourism Hub is a jewel in the midst of the city's hustle and bustle. The development is made up of four clusters, namely the Eco-Tourism Park, Institutional Zone, Mixed-Use Development, and Adventure Park.

The Eco-Tourism Park offers laid-back recreational activities like meditation spots, rain garden, canopy walks, tree houses, coffee shop and more. The Institutional Zone includes offices and parking buildings that are well-connected with other areas through covered and elevated walkways. The Mixed-Use Development, on the other hand, accommodates the convention center, mid-rise apartments, weekend market, chapel, wedding destination, and boutique hotel, among others. Lastly, the Adventure Park offers diverse outdoor amenities such as open air cinema, artist village, green school, treetop adventure park, glamping, zipline, wall climbing, and many more.

Overall, the master plan ensures the proper balance between land uses and activities. It will be a well-planned Eco-Tourism development that seeks to promote, maintain, and improve well-being through physical, psychological, and spiritual activities.
